Kaleidoscope by Visionary: Minimal Techno Visualized Through Cymatics

What does music look like?

With my latest project, I again answer that question by transforming Visionary’s hypnotic minimal techno track “Kaleidoscope” into living visuals using real cymatics.

Visionary’s “Kaleidoscope” is all about intricate, fractal soundscapes, so I captured its hidden geometry in water, revealing mesmerizing patterns shaped by sound. Every note and rhythm becomes visible through cymatics, creating a bridge between audio and visual art.

Cymatics is the science of visualizing sound. When music is played through a medium like water, it forms geometric patterns unique to each frequency, turning invisible sound into visible art.
